I love Sauvecita! - That should be the entire blog, because that's what it boils down to. I love their pomade for starters. Suavecita Pomade was inspired by the infamous Suavecito Pomade, but was critiqued, specially designed with a wonderful scent specifically for women. Suavecita is designed to be versatile - which it is - in achieving any kind of beautiful vintage hair style. |
This is a wax based pomade so it is heavy, for you gals with thinner hair you may want to look for something water based, but for me this does the trick. I rub a little on my fingers when taking out my curlers which helps to reduce frizz, I definitely use it to shape, polish, and mold my frizzy curls into vintage beauty. I bought mine online for $11.99 but you can get in all kinds of different stores for the same amazing price.
I don't just love their pomade but I love their Argan oil too! Again, I have such frizzy hair, Suavecita Argan Silkening Serum helps the hair look and feel amazing by restoring moisture, adding shine and reducing frizz. This is my life saver, you don't need a whole lot, it also smells good and it's only $11.99. |
But wait, I love their lipstick too! - This is the fun part. I entered their selfie contest a couple weeks ago, I took a picture with my favorite product of their's and they chose me as one of their winners! For my special prize I got to pick a lipstick of my choice.
I received a little box promptly in the mail, which was very exciting. It said "Lacey Tea" which was funny because I love receiving mail that doesn't have my legal name on it. Haha! Then I open this delightful little box and was even more excited!
There was a hand written thank you note - they know how to please the customers - with super cute tissue paper, please note I made a mess of it and then put it back in the box to try and show you how nice it was of them. Then I finally pulled out my prize - which is only $13.00 if you decide to invest in it - and behold, the glorious little box! |
I love their products so much I used all three for my Halloween Pinup Contest this past Saturday. I felt absolutely glamorous.
